hello my name is chay-ya, i am currently traveling and finding myself in a long autumnal wintery roll.
photographs often slip from my fingers as i look and respond to the world around me.
the images i taped up here are intended as offerings for collaboration with other people, in particular i am thinking about sounds.
I am enjoying the unknown qualities of this space. and whether any of these provocations will be taken up, or roll into some other form opening up in unexpected ways.

Is the direction of an aim for humans to awaken - of myself as I am that - even a tiny crevice of light to creep into the consumer world of material goods that I and others depend upon - that flood the planet. Social justice, community and environmentalism are all intrinsically linked. Traditional cultures in a nano second are blasted apart into the 21st Century. Dualism splits and divides, like the two sides of our brains, the left judges, measure, seperates, creates barriers and decides. The right experiencing in the very moment of right now.
Amber hues that are found in the simplicity of a bath tub situated in a human home, in a human urban environment - is this a natural environment? And is my habit of labeling - is it this that stops me from being happy, from being human?
I would like to sing a song for the bath tub please.
mmn, so much to digest and then of course let go and realise that the digestive system is well designed and capable... like how plants and vegetables grow very well without our input, and often better if we let go and allow it to happen; yes please sing. to make sense and just allow the sense already present to be, to surface.
